Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint received from EPA forward by Erich Webber to CKFO.
EPA Describe Your Drinking Water Inquiry:
"Over powering smell of chlorine, to the point I have to breath through my mouth, so i dont smell it, whenever I use it or shower in it. I absolutely can't use it to brush my teeth, smell of it makes me vomit! When we first moved here, about 2 years ago, it wasn't this bad, its has gotten really bad!
I work in 2 different places in town, same city water company and the water there doesn't smell. I checked there is no water softener or any other water filter system at either places!
When we moved into our home, we had all new water lines put in. So I know its not our water lines.
This is city water, we have to pay for it and the smell of it, makes me sick! Something has to be, needs to be tested. Its not safe to swim in a pool that contains a lot of chlorine but yet the city expects us to consume it."
