Description and Writeup
Mr. Ed Mullins, City of Elizabethton reported a 2-8-18 overflow from Lynn Avenue near First Baptist Church toward the East F Street intersection. The 2-9-18 e-mail indicated, "We had a sanitary sewer overflow along Lynn Avenue running from near the First Baptist Church toward the East F Street intersection. Crews noticed the leak yesterday 02/08/18, but assumed it was a water leak. Upon further investigation today a blockage was located in the sewer line running along Lynn Avenue which spread out into the surrounding ground. The blockage was repaired at approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning. Because the overflow surfaced in several areas, there were no definable calculations to determine the number of gallons involved."
