    Description and Writeup

2-9-15: Joellyn Brazile received an email from "Ask TDEC" regarding a complaint submitted by Mr. Gary Condrey. Mr. Condrey indicated in his email that a water leak had been occurring at 7001 Cannondale Cove for 4 months and had not been fixed even though MLGW has been contacted numerous times. Mr. Condrey provided a web link in his email regarding a story about the situation running on WREG (http://wreg.com/2015/02/04/water-leak-in-neighborhood-lasts-months/). Joellyn forwarded the email chain to Ali Khan with DWR to make contact with MLGW about the situation.
2-10-15: Ali received confirmation from MLGW that the leak on the property was the property owner's responsibility, therefore, MLGW is limited in being able to fix the situation. MLGW also indicated that a visit to the property found the water to be turned off (presumably by the resident), but when turn on was loosing about 5 gallons/minute. MLGW was told by the property owner that they were aware of the leak and that it would be fixed. The City of Memphis has also become aware of the issue and has indicated that a citation from Codes will be issued if the leak is not fixed.
2-12-15: Joellyn emailed Mr. Condrey to inform him that we had received his complaint and that we were looking into it.
1-21-15: Mr. Condrey replied that the problem still might not be fixed, but a lot more people are looking into it.
2-18-15: Joellyn emailed Tasha Davis with the City of Memphis to get an update.
2-20-15: The property was re inspected on Friday 2-13 by the City of Memphis @ 3:30 PM. The City reported that there was no evidence of flowing water; however, it could not determine where the repairs was made, and the ground was frozen. A City inspector returned on 2/17 and 2/19 and found no water present at the time of inspection. Another site visit is scheduled for today for a final inspection before closing. Joellyn emailed the City to ask if they could determine if the leak had been fixed or if the water was being turned off during the day by the resident.
2-20-15: Joellyn emailed Mr. Condrey again to let him know that the City of Memphis Codes Enforcement was continuing to look into the situation.
2-23-15: Joellyn emailed City of Memphis Codes Enforcement to get update.
2-27-15: Joellyn emailed City of Memphis Codes Enforcement again to get update, since no response had been received yet.
3-13-15: Joellyn emailed City of Memphis Codes Enforcement again to get update, since no response had been received yet.
3-17-15: Joellyn received email from City of Memphis indicating that the property owner had to appear before Judge Potter, who dismissed the case since the property owner confirmed with receipts that the leak had been fixed on 3-13-15. The City confirmed with several inspections after 3-13-15 that the leak had been fixed.
