Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint = Lorenda Sharber w/ TWRA left voicemail on 10-20-08 reporting sewage leak in Little Harpeth River at Granny White Pike.
Investigation by B. Loudermilk =no pollution issue observed. Contacted Richard Rigsby, City of Brentwood. That morning rehab work was being performed on the manhold by Little Harpeth downstream left descending bank side of Granny White Pike bridge. Rigsby confirmed that odor was bad but observed no leakage into river.
Contacted Ms Sharber who provided that she had received information from John Morrisey, 566-7254. Mr. Morrisey said that as he was driving down the road, he observed the sewage smell and assumed that sewage was leaking into stream. I advised him that there was NO PROBLEM at this time and of the rehab work on the manhole. I provided him with our NEFO number for contacting us directly should he observe future pollution issues. - BGL
