3-2-16: TWRA called in a complaint that they had received regarding wastewater from Blackjack Ridge Dairy reaching an UNT to Pott's Branch.
JCA and TEG investigated. Met with Chris Beard upon arriving at the site. Determined the discharge was coming from a busted pipe. Wastewater was being pumped from the waste pond to the water recycling tank. Waste was spraying on the ground and running down the hill to the UNT Pott's Branch.
JCA and TEG collected samples in the stream and at the discharge. Chris was informed of the need to sample and to submit written documentation within 30 days.
