Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaintant states there red clay mud washing down through the wooded area adjacent to the creek. The mud is accumulating on my property before it enters the creek water.***
16-AUG-23, Division staff investigated the complaint and found the site to be out of compliance. Division staff met with site personnel, Danny Vaughn, discussed the issues. There is a sediment basin that needs cleaning and maintenance. Untreated construction stormwater has discharged from the basing and deposited fill material and sediment into the stream that crosses the northern end of the property. A Notice of Violation/Corrective Action Request (NOV/CAP) for improper operation/maintenance and discharge of fill material and sediment in the receiving stream will be issued. The NOV will require the development and implementation of Corrective Action Plan to remediate the situation.***
