Complaint Description and Writeup
11/27/2023 - RWR - Received VM from Mr. Bateman regarding an 18-month old well pumping sand
11/27/2023 - WNL - (Phone conversations morning of 11/27/2023) - Mr. Bateman informed me that his well was pumping sand on and off for the past 18 months. Just recently started doing it bad. He could not get Richard Cash, rig operator, on the phone until recently. It was drilled under Chris Brown #867 license. Wilson well went out to well owner's last week and could not pull the pump out. Reason unknown. The pump is not working at all at this point. I explained to Mr. Bateman that a lot can occur in 18 months. If it was pumping sand in the beginning and he called it in, maybe we could have helped if it was an instalment issue. Being that it is 18 months later, I thought it would be a civil matter being that how can you prove it at this time. I also told him that Mr. Brown would be the responsibly contact since the well was drilled under his license. Mr. Bateman was asking about some type of 5 year warranty that is for all wells. Told him I have never heard of that, if he and the Driller had some type of warranty agreement then it would be between them.
I also spoke to Richard Cash. He was on his way to the owner’s residence to see if he could get his pump going and water flowing. Trying to see what he can do and what is going on.
