Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant called to report high water pressure at 130 PSI in 2013. Stated it was "blowing" water filter, faucet and lines in yard. Stated the Utility will not reimburse, wants to be reimbursed and wants agency to enforce that the lines be dug up from road, cut, and inspected.
Called complainant on 12-JAN-15 to explain that the division does not have regulations in place that cover high water pressure. Explained further that we do regulate low water pressure. Finally, explained that we do not regulate the water billing, nor could we force the utility to reimburse him for his expenses. I suggested he continue to try and work with his utility.
MPM
Called complainant on 26-JAN-15 and spoke with him about pressure and division regulations. Mr Parker is concerned that the state is forcing him to use a monopoly and that he should be recompensed for his repairs. I told Mr. Parker that our regulations do not encompass that sort of thing and provided him with the phone number to the comptrollers office.
