Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
3/14/2024 - RAB - Complainant contacted DWR about issues related to the installation of a water well pump and a pressure tank. Complainant said fixtures & parts used were not to pressure tank manufacturer's specifications. The license holder did not drill a well. There was "an existing pump house that had an old and tired pump and pressure tank that needed to be replaced. License holder was hired "to relocate the pressure tank to my garage and to put a new 1hp pump in the pump house." License holder "personally installed the pump and pressure tank". Complainant has not been able to reach the license holder about the work.
3/15/2024 - RAB - Complainant emailed to say that the license holder had returned his phone calls, they had discussed the issues and concerns, and the license holder was going to fix the issues. Complainant said the issue was resolved but he wanted to have a phone call to ask some questions.
3/19/2024 - RAB - RAB called complainant to discuss the complaint. During discussion with the complainant, RAB asked if the source of the water was a well or a spring and the complainant said that the source was a spring and not a well. The "pump house" and the "well pump" were not well related, but a "spring house" and a pump for the spring house. RAB informed the complainant that a spring was not in the jurisdiction of the DWR Water Well Program section.
