7/20/2023 - RWRo - RWR received phone call from complainant inquiring about the licensure status of Ridge 809 - RWR informed complainant that Kenneth Gobell is a licensed individual and has stated that he's an employee of Ridge 809. Complainant also stated that the work completion time-line was unsatisfactory. RWR asked complainant to submit the complaint in writing to avoid transcription error. RWR sent email to complainant with additional information regarding "supervision" - Awaiting reply from complainant. RWR will update complaint when additional information is received.
7/21/2023 - RAB - RAB received voicemail from complainant on 7/20/2023, concerning questions about well water sample results. RAB contacted complainant the afternoon of 7/20/2023. Explained that DWR didn't require sampling of private water wells but did have guidance documents to share. Complainant said that coliform and sulfur were detected in water sample. When asked, said that well and septic system were both brand new. RAB told complainant that the well could be shocked to take care of coliform initially but that there were treatment systems for both coliform and sulfur. Advised her to contact licensed treatment system installer and offer to send her the link to the list of license holders. complainant said she believed she had it from DWR website.
7/24/2023 - No additional information received by Division as of this morning.
8/4/2023 - RWR - No response from complainant to date.
8/10/2023 - RWR - Received additional complaint description from complainant - complaint references photos that were not attached, RWR responded asking for photos. Reviewing written complaint internally.
8/15/2023 - Received Photos from complainant.
8/16/2023 - JEFO visited site in addition to several other of the licensee's sites, several with missing driller tags. unsealed cap on one well. No other violations were noted.
8/28/2023 - NOV mailed certified.
9/6/2023 - RWR - RWR sent email reply to complainant addressing each individual inquiry. Closing complaint.
