Complaint Description and Writeup
Alternate Contact: Kim Lobins / 731-614-3200 (Sue Ballards Daughter)
Recommend contacting Kim because Sue is elderly and doesn't hear very well.
Complaint: Mrs. Ballard (adjacent landowner to McKee Grocery site) says that the culvert under her drive is stopped up and the discharge coming from the McKee site is running over her drive and washing the gravel away. She said that the contractor at the McKee site told her they would run the discharge pipe under her driveway to prevent any occurrence of this happening back when remediation began. Because of her age, she is unable to get out and unstop the culvert herself. She is requesting that the discharge pipe be ran through or under the culvert to prevent future overflows. - JGL
Actions: I recommended to Kim that she contact the Henderson Co. Public Works Dept. about getting the ditch and culvert cleaned out on her Mother's property. I provided the contact number for this department. Furthermore, I stated that I would contact our UST remediation division and inquire about rerouting the pipe below her mother's driveway, but explained that we may not have the ability to do so. I said that I would follow up with her once an answer was received. - JGL
