Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
it appears at least, un permitted earth moving and landscaping on an approximately a 2.2 acre + or - lot. There is plenty of hearsay evidence that the owner of this lot is planning some sort of multi dwelling development on this lot. I know for a fact the owner has not been before the city planning commission to initiate any zoning change and my best information is that he has not sought any kind of permit from the city or state. He has already cut down all the trees on the property and intermittently spread fill dirt and bulldozed pretty much the entire lot and this all started nearly two month ago.
Of immediate concern is the fact that this lot is on a hillside that drops off at what I’m guessing is at least a 30 + degree slope in the rear that encompasses 3/4 of the surface area; ending up at a Blue Line creek that flows year round. He did put of a flimsy plastic silt fence that was and is completely inadequate , the silt fence has been overwhelmed by the volume of run off from rain and the creek has a substantial amount of mud / silt
that has been deposited in the stream bed. A second , and obviously half hearted attempt at a silt fence has suffered the same fate, with even more mud in the creek. Now , yet another silt fence is up a per the attached photos and is already breached in several spots , allowing even more mud in the creek. I am sending these photos to help support Mr Morris in our attempt to get the proper regulatory authority to take action. We have brought all this to our city coders department attention but action has been non existent, to way to slow ; over a period of going on two months.
Please feel free to contact me if I can offer any information or clarity.
