On August 15, 2024, at 0641 the State Watch Point received notification from Marion County EMA of a utilities disruption incident located on Jasper Highlands Boulevard in Jasper, TN. It was reported between 300 to 600 individuals were without water due to a main water line rupture. It was advised the rupture was caused due to a continuous leak that drained a main water tank. Tennessee American Water Company and Jasper Highlands FD were on scene. The repair time was unknown at the time of reporting. There were no requests for TEMA assistance. This incident is ongoing.
