    Complaint Description and Writeup

There is backhoe digging going on behind my home in the Harpeth creek. This has been going on for a week now. The creek carries much of the water of the area to the Harpeth. I’m concerned about sediment exposed and the impact this will have on m property and the general flood plane. Do you know about this digging? Is it permitted- do they have a permit for it? Is it being done in a manner that is environmentally sound? Currently it appears that storms, water flow could easily displace sediment and cause issues. This creek runs behind homes on Holly Trace Way (Traceside) and homes on Temple Rd.

We were told that by those that are part of the digging that it’s private property and the own up to the stone wall. They said they were digging so their property did not flood during heavy rains. It’s a definite creek. It doesn’t seem like it’s private property. I’m adding a couple pictures that were taken early in the week.
