Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Visited site. Overflow was reported on Christmas Eve. Mosheim personnel stated that the manhole cover floated off of the manhole because it is located in the drain way. Water was overflowing the manhole and waste was exiting the manhole because of heavy rains. The manhole was pumped to lessen the impact and personnel worked until the overflow was stopped. The manhole is subject to flooding because of the contours of the ground and construction that has happened in the past. A ring to raise the manhole is being constructed to raise the manhole so it is less likely to flood. They will clean any debris and lime the area now that it is drying out. Called complainant.
