    Complaint Description and Writeup

Mr. Brad Tullock reported that sewage was in the creek on 10/10/08. SKV said that she would contact J.C. Hurd and call Mr. Tullock back. J.C.Hurd went to the Marathon Market Pump Station and observed the overflow. He had Mr. Jim Hartman, the electrician working on the station and contacted Four Seasons to pump out the creek. SKV informed Mr. Tullock of the preceding information. TAR observed that Four Seasons was pumping sewage out of the creek at 706 Bramble Road on 10/10/08. TAR also observed live fish downstream from where Four Seasons was pumping. TAR went to the pump station and observed evidence that the manhole had overflowed into the creek. Lime had been placed on the spilled sewage. The creek channel had been dredged downgradient of the pump station where the water line had been installed. Mr. Tullock accompanied TAR during site inspection. TAR met with Mr. Hartman who was troubleshooting the pump station control panel. Mr. Hartman informed TAR that Big Orange Electric was in route to assist in the repair. TAR informed J.C. Hurd to manually pump the station to prevent it from overflowing and to have Big Orange Electric contact her when repairs were complete.
