Description and Writeup
Mr. Tim Barrier reported that sewage was backing up into three offices in the building. The owner of the building is Mr. Neal Holder, S&N Rental, 1668 Harbin Hill Road, phone-352-441-0105. Mr. Barrier indicated the cause was a backflow valve issue. Ms. Sandra Vance (SKV) advised Mr. Barrier she would contact Mr. Chris Hook, Town of Mountain City. SKV contacted Mr. Hook and he indicated a crew would check on the situation. Mr. Hook later reported that the main sanitary sewer line serving the building was flowing properly and he had spoken to the tenant. He also discovered from the building owner that the sewage issue occurred a couple of months ago. No sewage was backing up today into the building. Mr. Hook explained to the owner that the Town has done smoke testing and videoing of the sanitary sewer lines in the building's area. He gave the owner the dollar amount the Town was spending to have the collection system rehabbed.
