Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
1/27/10: David Thorpe informed Cliff Caudle (WPC) about a leak to a transport line that allowed some process water to flow down a storm drain and ultimately into McKellar Lake. It was unknown at that time how much process water was discharged.
1/28/10: MTP contaced Mr. Thorpe to obtain more information with regard to the incident. Mr. Thorpe stated that less than 500 gallons of process water reached a nearby storm drain. The system was immediately shut down, further discharge was contained, and cleanup efforts were made. Incident reports were submitted by Mr. Thorpe and Ms. Cynthia Anderson (TVA) to WPC-Memphis via email on 1/28/10 (uploaded in waterlog).
