The caller was formerly Debra Walker, now Debra Sweeney. She has complained about discolored water in the past. This weekend she started getting brown water at her home located at 196 Tanglewood dr. She tried to call Cumberland UD but did not get the usual answering service and has not gotten a return phone call. She stated that an automatic flushing device was installed after the issues they had in 2016 but it appears to have failed because the color has returned.
System has changed their operations to more frequent testing of iron and manganese issues, and adjusted chemical feeding to accommodate variations in raw water intake properties.
