Complaint Description and Writeup
Email from Eric Ward 10/25/2024 "It was nice meeting you today. Below is the history of events that took place at 1738 Highland Mt Rd Rickman TN.
May 29 and May 30, 2024 Well drilling days (Please Note the drill date on the form is 6/13/24 WRONG DATE I have a video the day they drilled on Wed May 29th)
Towards the tail end of the second day of drilling they told us they hit a pocket / Cave around 400' and could not drill any deeper.
No visible signs of water at this time. Chris assured us he would be out in a few days with his test equipment to verify if the well had any water or was just a hole in the ground. My wife and I have been patiently waiting since May 30th for Chris to return to test the well.
I have text messages back on June 13th asking Chris when he will be returning to test for water. His reply is the service rig is tied up and he hasn't gotten back to this area. Thursday Aug 8th another text service rig is still down but Chris did ask for me to send him a picture of the well sticker.
September 9th I sent a text Chris did not reply
September 24th I texted him and he did reply, the Test rig was supposed to be back up and Chris said he would be up later that week. But once again NO Chris.
Today 10/25/2024 Jamie Busch from the Department of environmental conservation of TN showed up to put a sticker on the well based on fictitious information.
We tried calling Chris but he did not answer. I left him a message, still no call back
The paperwork Chris filled out and filed as factual is not legitimate, as no one knows what is at the bottom of the well.
As the attached Text messages confirm, Chris has never completed the necessary testing in order to provide the information he supplied on this official document. I'm extremely disappointed and alarmed that any licensed professional would operate this way.
Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated."
10/28/2024 - RAB - Chris Farmer contacted RAB to inform RAB that he had gone to the site this morning with the service truck to check water in well. Did not know that the customer had emailed a complaint to DWR until customer told him this a.m. Driller did manage to pump water from well. Static level is ~345’ (TD = 400’), but water is coming up in the well (cold air vs. warm air). Driller spoke with client about getting pump truck out to site end of this week to install pump. driller anticipates that well will produce 5 gpm or more. Driller apologized to well owner and said that he had messed up the dates on when he was planning to be back out at site. Driller said was happy with the work.
