Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Mr. Nash owns a gun shop about 1/2 mile down river of Centerville's STP. Satursday evening he had a fish fry. He said the complaint was about the smell from the treatment plant.
DAL met with Mr. Nash on 4-13-10 then DAL visited the STP and met with Ronnie Pitman. Mr. Pitman agreed the odor had been bad recently. They had emptied their clarifer beginning last Thursaday in order to replace its gear box. On my visit, they had filled the basin and were going through start up procedures. DAL called Mr. Nash that afternoon and explained this.
Centerville was to have a board meeting on the night of 4-13-10 to seek $3 million in funds to refurblish the STP. DAL explained this to Mr. Nash.
