Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant (Lindsay Barnett) texted Daniel Pillow on July 5th, 2024, to notify the state of brown water issues taking place in the Town of Huntingdon distribution. Ms. Barnett did not have discolored water, but noticed a social media post another Huntingdon resident had posted that contained images of discolored water. Upon seeing this, Ms. Barnett notified the Jackson Field Office of the issue. The discolored water was in relation to a small break in a 6-inch cast iron main. Water department employees were aware of this issue at the time of the complaint and were able to repair the main in addition to flushing. The discolored water was likely due to hydrants being opened fully during flushing. As of July 5th, 2024, this issue is considered resolved.
