Call to TVA, and forwarded to TDEC.
He’s saying the Running Water Creek is dry, and he believes development by Thunder Thorton is the cause of it.
TVA let him know that the area has only received 1.7 inches of rain in the last 10 days and about 3 to 4 inches in the last 30 days. His gage (a bucket) has received 2 inches of rain in the last day or two.
Looked at Running Water Creek in 2 locations adjacent to Hwy 134 in Guild. Water is low, but flowing. No signs of sediment or disturbance observed. NCL 8-9-2023
