Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant states that this facility, where they used to work, is dumping concrete and trees, etc., in a lake at the back of the property. TRT could not find a TMSP or RMCP permit record for the facility.
11/25/08: MTP and EKB conducted a site inspection. No evidence of trees and concrete were observed in the lake located behind the site. However, shingles were observed along the side of the bank. According to Mr. Elester Charleston (site owner), dumping of trees and concrete materials is not a practice conducted at the facility. However, the dumping of the shingles has been done illegally by individuals trespassing on the property during non-working hours. Mr. Charleston stated that he would remove the shingles in the lake. At the time of the inspection, Mr. Charleston was informed, however, that he will be receiving an NOV because he is operating a RMCP operation without a valid permit.
