Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant states intermittent discolored/rusty water. The complainant also states that when the water system office was contacted that she was told the rusty water is due to old pipes in the customers home, and it is not the water systems responsibility. When Tommy Lynn (COIDC) and Amy Armstrong (office manager) were contacted they stated complaints are kept on file for one year and there is no record of complaints from the customer within the last year. James Roberts with the JEFO advised that if the complaint can be determined to be valid that the area should be put on a regular flushing schedule. The complainant has been emailed with TDEC official's (James Roberts) contact information so he can follow up with them as well.
Update: After James Roberts (DWR) spoke with Tommy Reed (Operator), it was decided to increase flushing in this area to reduce rust in the water.
