Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant called stating sewage coming up in back yard. Sometimes has a chemical smell and sheen.
MPM Called David Kelloge at Gallatjn to ask them to investigate.
Investigation by both UST and City of Gallatin personnel believe the water coming up out of the ground is part of the "Town Creek Seep". This water is known to be contaminated with petroleum products and Sulphur. The Gallatin MS4 is also involved. Studies are ongoing at to the source of the contaminants.
Complaint referred to Drew Storm, TDEC-UST.
