Description and Writeup
WNL - Rudy Collins informed WNL on 8/25/2023 about a sick child possibly due to the water coming from a residential well at 1780 Olive Hill Rd, Olive Hill Tn.
WNL - Spoke to the wife on 8/28/2023 to set up a site visit for 8/29/2023. Spoke to the husband on 8/29/2023 before the site visit. Child was drinking bottled water. Doctor thought sickness could have been due to coming in contact with the residential water. Owner tested the residential water and it tested positive for total coliform. Owner informed WNL that the installer was Jerry Hurt, Hurt Construction. Will Little and Libby Williams, JEFO Inspectors, conducted a site visit on 8/29/2023. Left reading information on coliform and how to properly disinfect along with our water well rules and regulations. Photos uploaded.
WNL - Sent text on 8/30/2023 to the husband asking for a phone call when possible. Owners both have day jobs. Waiting on call back.
WNL - 8/31/2023 - Spoke with the Onwer. Recommended drilling a well. Waiting on the depth and water level of the well/spring box.
WNL - 10/4/2023 - PBA letters to owner and installer mailed
WNL - 10/16/2023 - PBA letter delivered to the owner. PBA letter to the installer is being returned. Installer has moved and did not leave a forwarded address. Will try to find new address and resend.
