Complaint Description and Writeup
Mr. Price who lives beside the Mosheim WWTP said the WWTP smells bad all the time. He also said the odor was bad on 4/2/12, but was not bad on 4/3/12. Finally, he said a former neighbor advised "something would be added to the tanks at the WWTP" to control the odor. SKV advised Mr. Price on 4/3/12 that Robert Tipton was the inspector for the WWTP and that he was out sick. SKV further advised Mr. Price that his complaint would be investigated and he would be informed about the results.
Investigated complaint on 4/9/12. Spoke with the Chief Operator at Mosheim WWTP. I asked him if they had any different or stong odors at the plant. He stated that they had not noticed anythig diffrent in the odors. He stated that they were getting ready for a plant expantion and that may be the reason for the complaint. Mr Price lives less than one hundred feet from the headworks of the plant. I noted no unusual or strong odors at the time of the investigation. RLT
