Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
12-6-19: DPR received a complaint via a phone call from a concerned citizen regarding mud running off of TNR154829 construction site into a stream adjacent to the site. The complainant stated that during rain events that large amounts of mud run off-site through the silt fence and into the stream. They also stated that there is no Notice of Coverage on-site for the project and that they felt the erosion controls on site were not adequate. The complainant stated they have pictures of the runoff during recent rain events.
12-9-19: TDW inspected the site. Silt fence was not trenched and was damaged on southern side of the project. Rills were observed on the slopes located in the center of the project. Sediment was observed in ditch south of the project.
12-12-19: TDW mailed NOV for failing BMPs and off-site sediment migration.
