Complaint Description and Writeup
7/06/2017 - Voicemail stated that Powell Valley Electric (PVE) in Harrogate has been spraying pesticides undergrowth and directly into streams. Station Creek is one of them along with many other.
*7/10-7/12/2017 - I have been trying to call the complainant back for several days to ask more questions and figure out an exact location of the pesticide spray, however, we have been playing a little phone tag.
**7/19/2017 - Spoke with Mr. Newton. The spraying has occurred along Ramsey Hollow Road and many other areas. He also stated that they spraying directly against his house/barn and on blackberry bushes in which their children pick and eat.
***7/20/2017 - Spoke with the Department of Agriculture, pesticide unit, and was told to refer all pesticide complaints to them. They have several employees that will investigate the complaint.
