Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
TWRA reported that fish kill was first discovered by a farmer on March 8, 2016 and he called to inform TWRA on March 11, 2016.
3-12-2016 Wildlife Officer Larry Thurston investigated fish kill and tracked the dead fish to Nash Dairy. There were no dead fish pass drive way to Nash dairy.
3-16-2016 TEG/JCA met with TWRA at Nash dairy and determined that Nash had followed his nutrient management plan. However, there were several drainages in the spray area in field 6 that need to be removed from the land application area. The spraying done in these areas appear to be the cause of the fish kill.
A NOV will be sent requiring Mr. Nash to re-evaluate his NMP.
