Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Mr. Danny Neely, Baileyton WWTP reported a 7-22-15 overflow from Pump Station #5-Horton Highway, Baileyton. The overflow of approximately 1,000 gallons occurred due to a power outage from a storm event. A written report will be submitted to the Johnson City EFO. The report received 7-27-15 indicated, "...during the night of July 22, 2015 the Town of Baileyton had a thunder storm and the main breaker on the power pole to pump station #5 on Horton Highway tripped. This caused the pump station to lose all electrical power, even the power to the high level alarm. We found this out as we were checking the pump stations. We reset the main breker and both pumps and the alarm came on....We pumped the station down and sprayed disinfectant on the affected area."
