Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
After recent flash flooding on Mountain Creek (Jul 21, 2024) large trees were uprooted and caused damage. One tree fell across the creek and caused damage to EPB power lines. Several more were torn from bank and are causing a significant log jam under a roadway bridge near a gas line. The trees are too large to be managed by one person. The significant jam is also interfering with flow of water and creating stagnant patches of water that has runoff straight from residential neighborhoods.
The photos attached are taken from creek and road on Valley Bridge Road Chattanooga 37415, between Stoney Brook Lane and N Valley Drive, approximate GPS coordinates 35.11921, -85.31218 The green pipe is gas line.
Complainant was notified by TDEC staff that City of Chattanooga 311 needs to be notified of issue since that is a City maintained street.
