Description and Writeup
Mr. Hamilton stated that the local Industrial Board has stated construction of a new industrial park in Celina and that approximately 15-20 acres of land disturbance next to the Cumberland River have started. Wetland impacts may have occurred. He stated that he did not believe that the work activity was permitted.
Work has been going on about 1 month. This area is just north of the sewer plant along Breyer Street. Investigation occurred on 4-11-17 by Jeff Patton and Tracy Daugherty. Active grading was being conducted the inspection. Disturbance is well over one acre. It appears that wetland area has been impacted doing the grade work. Contact is to made to the Industrial Development Board concerning the work being done with a Construction stormwater general permit.
