Description and Writeup
A Notice of Violation was issued for this property on July 25th, 2023 due to owners installing clearing the streambank of the Saunders Fork Creek and installing a culvert and fill without an ARAP permit, complaint number 127947, site ID 177362. Since that time, the culvert has washed downstream due to flooding of May 9th, 2024. OWNERS ARE NOW EXCAVATING THE CREEK BED AGAIN with a bobcat and backhoe to install a shipping container as a bridge. NO ARAP PERMIT SHOWS AS ISSUED FOR THIS PROPERTY IN THE TDEC DATA VIEWER. Pictures of this ongoing work are attached to this report. The license plate of the operator is shown in the photograph and is 70528 H2, a commercial plate. Calls to TDEC went unanswered concerning this violation on 7/30/2024. The work has been ongoing since 7/27/2024.
