Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant states the about a week and half ago a grayish white discharge is turning the water lighter in color and is discoloring the river bed for 100'-150' feet downstream. the discharge is happening 8-10' from the bank and 25' across.
TDEC personnel Franklin Colyer and Tina Robinson investigated on 4/24/22024. The conditions the complainant described were observed in the river. The conditions are being caused by the effluent from Domtar's outfall from the lagoons. River conditions have not improved from the last time TDEC observed the discharge. River conditions are also not getting significantly worse than previously investigated.
