Description and Writeup
Mr. Chris Hook, Town of Mountain City reported a 1-26-18 overflow at 1949 Crossroads Dr., Mountain City (cleanout). A written report will be submitted to the Johnson City EFO. The report received on 2-9-18 indicated the overflow went from 12:00-5:30 PM with an estimated volume of 2 gallons. The report indicated, "This is a service line overflow. When the crew got on site there was only a little waste water seeping from the clean out. The customer had called when they first noticed it. They cleaned the line and returned flow to the main. There was no debris on the ground due to the early detection." The report further indicated the cause was due to an obstruction in the service line and cleanup was, "Burnt lime and straw."
