Complaint Description and Writeup
WNL - Will Little, JEFO inspector, on 6/28/2023 inspected a residential well in Lakepoint Estates Subdivision located in Huntingdon TN. No 911 address at this time. During the inspection and a later conversation with a driller, it was determined that an unknown person broke the well seal to connect power to the pressure switch. At this time it is assumed that the contractor or electrician broke the seal. WNL has tried to contact the well owner by phone to confirm but has gotten not answer and no return call from the owner. The owner's voicemail box is full.
Will Little spoke with C&J on 7/6/2023. Carl Johnson, Lic. # 1086, has agreed to leave his wells in a condition that will provide an electrician a way to charge the system without breaking the well seal.
WNL - 7/17/2023 - Mailed advisement letter to well owner asking for information as to who connected the electrical cable to the pressure switch.
WNL - 7/28/2023 - Well owner responded to letter by email on 7/27/2023. Well owner informed WNL who the contractor is. WNL has left a voicemail with the contractor on 7/28/2023. Awaiting call back.
WNL - 7/31/2023 - WNL spoke to the contractor on 7/28/2023. The contractor stated that ARC Electric was the electrician that performed the work.
WNL - 8/2/2023 - Advisement letter sent to electrician.
