Complaint Description and Writeup
7/1/2021 - Voicemail received around 8:30 PM Thursday night Conner Creek starting to build up orange mud. He followed the creek to start tracing the source down Hardin Valley. He stated that the mud is coming from under a culvert that goes under Hardin Valley connected directly to a construction site. Calls it a “giant mud field” and it discharges into the cove.
*7/1/2021 - Ryan Hickey sent an email stating that he has requested for Fulghum MacIndoe to perform the engineered site assessment and to evaluate how they can improve the erosion controls.
*7/20/2021 Engineer site assessment received from Ryan Hickey.
Email from Ryan:
"We completed items 1, 4, 6, & 8 last Friday and Saturday. It did rain 1.25” out there Sunday night (7/18/21). We plan to perform more erosion work out there starting tomorrow if it is dry enough.
In addition we have hydroseeded and put topsoil replacement on 8 acres of the site, a significant portion washed off in a heavy rain event so we will have to redo it."
*8/4/2021 - Update from MR. Hickey was out there yesterday checking on the project, to the best of his knowledge the items identified in the report have been completed. They are close to being finished with mass grading, he has a contractor scheduled to start additional stabilization work next Thursday.
