Complaint Description and Writeup
Backhoe in the creek. Also, pumping muddy slurry from a pit into Carr Creek. JEH 7/24/09
I visited the site on July 24, 2009 around 9:00 a.m. the trackhoe and it's operator (working for Scott & Ritter, Inc.) were clearing out a 26' deep hole to replace the pump station. The hole was filling with sediment laden water and they were pumping the sediment laden water out of the hole and into Carr Creek. The discoloration of Carr Creek was observed approximately a mile downstream. MAF 7/24/09
