Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Caller called to complain that Greenbrier is adding 5 homes onto the sewer system on Sugar camp Road just upstream of the STP while they are on a total moratorium. Caller alleged the City had a "secret" meeting to allow the addition of the homes. The hoses being added are near 7251 Sugar Camp Road.
Review of a letter sent with the recently issued with the consent order indicated that approval for 6 houses in a small subdivision on Sugar Camp Dr. was done during the time that the self-imposed was lifted on the system. I have contacted staff members in the Enforcement group that wrote the order to find additional information. They have to contact OGC to determine the exact location of the approved taps and will follow-up with me. LKS 8/23/18***
Received follow-up from Enforcement staff: OGC did not receive exact locations of proposed residences, but they believe the houses currently being constructed are the taps were approved. LKS 8/23/18***
Spoke with Bill Williams, certified operator for collection system, and he confirmed that the houses in question were approved by the letter included with the order. He believes that the complainant is likely upset because of some rehab work being done on the collection system lines in front of their house. LKS 8/31/18***
