Complaint Description and Writeup
I work regularly with James Vaden (Wilson Co.) who shared your contact info with me. I have a neighbor at 6450 Beasley Bend Rd, in Trousdale but near the Wilson County line that is 8 weeks or so into an un-approved, un-protected soil harvesting operation. We have tracked trucks hauling to Macon, Trousdale, Wilson and Rutherford Counties. I have been told by the Mayor that approvals were granted for garage construction only.
I am also speaking for several neighbors who are concerned about the mud and debris being tracked on our road as well as the run-off towards the river. As we are near the end of the bend, we have the Cumberland on both sides of the road. I have attached a picture, but it does not show the continued stripping of topsoil that is going on up over the crest of the hill.
As a Developer and Contractor, I deal with erosion and sediment control on a regular basis and know how important protecting our watershed is to the environment. Thanks for any assistance you can provide in helping to get this site into compliance.
