Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Ms. Sims states that e.coli is high within the calfkiller. She feels that it is coming from a leaking sewer line. She did not provide a specific point source location. Cell # 316 - 3444
WPC staff talked with Mr. Sims. Mr. Sims wants WPC staff to investigate that an unknow possible Sparta Wastewater collection system is causing pollution to his pond and spring. He had not observed a problem in several years, but the complaint is a reoccurring complaint every few years. WPC staff refered to City of Sparta and will follow up once receiving sampling results from city.
(KBC 8 Sept 2011)
Fecal and e-coli samples collected on 2-9-2012 by WPC staff showed no results that were not indicative of a sewage contamination (10 Feb 2012, KBC)
