Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint is that when it rains the sewage from the city of Dickson wastewater utility manholes are overflowing behind their pumpstation on East Piney road. I contacted Michael Adams, engineer with WADC, the overflow was being monitiored and was reported as required by the NPDES permit. This overflow is being addressed as part of a phased project of the Piney Creek pumpstation collection system. The pumper trucks are used as part of the control of the overflows in the collection system. The project is expected to be completed within a year, but the current repairs and replacement are identifing additional need for woark to the collection system. (DJE 3/7/08)
