Description and Writeup
Complainant stated that the Lake County Highway Department were cleaning out a ditch and broke a sewer pipe that ran sewage into a ditch just east of 370 Magnolia Street, Tiptonville, TN near the washout area of the lake. The ditch runs to Reelfoot Lake. Sewage made it to Reelfoot Lake. The Reelfoot Sewer Regional and Planning District put a berm in across the ditch to stop the sewage and repaired the pipe. They left the sewage in the ditch backed up behind the berm.
