Description and Writeup
Jonathan Linder (BAE Systems/HSAAP) left voicemail for BBC on 4/29/2019 to report a release of industrial wastewater (cooling water and antiscalant) from the HSAAP Area B steam plant. BBC spoke with Mr. Linder to obtain additional information. A blockage in an industrial sewer line from the steam plant resulted in backup and overflow of wastewater through the building and onto the ground outside. The wastewater migrated to nearby drainage ditches, but did not discharge into a facility outfall or other flowing water. Moody Sprinkler was called to address the line blockage, and a work order was generated for grounds crews to clean out wastewater and residue from the affected drainage ditches. A written report will be submitted.
