The following complaint was referred to the TDEC-WPC-KEFO by Humberto Guzman of the USEPA Region 4.
Truck stop has filled in retention pond and storm water now flows into spring which dumps into Dumplin Creek. Rubbish and large rocks have been dumped into natural spring that feeds Dumplin Creek. A small culvert dumps from the truck stop into the spring which flows into Dumplin Creek.
Specific Directions: Located off I-40E at the Deep Springs Exit 412. Turn south onto Deep Springs from I-40. Spring
is on west side of Deep Springs about 500ft from 412 east exit ramp. Spring is near where Interstate fencing ends.
