    Description and Writeup

Complainant states that address states that their neighbor’s (the short term rental apartments located at 3230 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37218) sewage runs across their parking lot located at 3228 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37218 because they are down slope of an issue with their neighbor’s sewer line. Metro codes has been out in the past and required the other business owner to do some form of repair to the system, but it did not fix the problem. With the influx of rentals during the Fourth of July week, they said that there is sewage running across their lot again and they are concerned because it is obviously a public health issue and an odor nuisance. There is untreated waste on the ground and getting picked up by the stormwater sump which terminates on the ground nearby. The owner stated he has had issues with Metro codes coming out in a timely manner and has now reached out to TDEC to see what can be done.

CLW called Matt Lott with Metro Sewer and left a voicemail, he responded via email requesting details. When sent the information he copied a crew to visit the site.
