Description and Writeup
A new home construction site in Docks of Caney Creek is causing a significant amount of silting into a cove. It appears soil was pushed into a drainage area perhaps as part of site grading. Silt fencing was installed but has collapsed in several areas. The attached photos show some of the collapsed silt fencing, the areas where the soil has eroded and the silted water flowing into the cove. The water pictures were taken after the last significant rain at the end of May.
