Complaint Description and Writeup
TVA OIG received on 7-28-21 an EmPowerline concern regarding the possible release of untreated sewer water into the Duck River, located in Manchester, Tennessee: "Manchester, Tennessee is releasing untreated sewage wastewater. Manchester releases too much sewage water into the Duck River. This is alarming due to the fact the Duck River is one of the most diverse rivers in the world and provides drinking water for over 200,000 Tennesseans."
TVA sent this to TDEC's Karen Hedden on 8-9-21 then to TDEC's Sherry Glass 8-12-21.
